What do you like about Venango County?
Venango County is a beautiful place to live. I like that there are many things you can be involved in.
What do you dislike about Venango County?
The incumbent and past county commissioners. They are flipping retards who are only interested in furthering their own interests it seems. Now, I am not making a blanket statement about EVERY commissioner, but those of you who know what I am talking about will know who I am talking about.
What is the most important thing to change in Venango County?
I think the county government, the way taxes are developed, school boards and the unbelievable power they hold. Local government bodies such as Cranberry township who encourage tons of business growth and then don't want to deal with the watershed problems it creates leaving property owners to figure out how to deal with the mess the government creates.
What do you think is missing from Venango County?
A work program for people on welfare. I am sick of people being supported by a system while they do nothing worthwhile to earn it.
What are your thoughts about life in Venango County?
It would be nice if our county park (Two Mile Run Park) that all the residents could enjoy was open instead of being a pawn in a game played by the county commissioners and the people hired to manage the park. There have been many controversies surrounding the park, but the bottom line is while the children in the governing bodies play around, we have no park to enjoy this summer. No camping, no swimming, nothing. Haven't made enough money yet guys?
