viruses stemming from unknown sources threaten the health of UPMC surgical patients

The UPMC hospital may have had a recent incident occurring where patients had been exposed to viruses from within the institution.

Apparently, a so called, small number of patients underwent surgery recently at the UPMC Northwest Hospital located in Seneca, Venango County. These patients had been exposed to what is considered as a health risk, according to the hospital.

The hospital declined to describe the problem which could have caused these potentially, severely harmful risks which brought illness upon unsuspecting, patients.
