A few years ago I spent a lot of my free time at Two Mile Run Park. The summers were really hot and I loved spending time in the sun! I would hike the trails, go fishing, and some days I would go with friends to take their kids to the park to play. We always had a great time. Why wouldn't we? It was a beautiful place! The one thing I remember going to Two Mile the most for was to go swimming.
Two Mile had a section of the lake closed off for swimming. We would pay just $5 for a car load of people to swim all day! They had boats you could rent and enjoy out on the water. They also had a huge inflatable slide they called the "Iceberg". There was so much to do there!
Well this summer I haven't really had the time to go. I have been so busy with work. Not only have I not had the the time to go swimming, but to me, I think there wasn't enough hot days! This summer has seemed kind of cool to me. When I finally did the time to relax and go somewhere, the weather was beautiful and hot! So I got a bunch of friends together to go for a nice day at the beach!
A bunch of my friends and family wanted to go so we had to get two cars. Since it was only $5 a car load it wouldn't cost too much for all of us to get in to the beach. Well when we got there we found out it would cost a bit more that just $5. They were now charging $4 a person to swim all day! WHAT!? I think that is way too much. I can't believe they changed the prices so high! So since I invited everyone to go I felt obligated to pay for everyone.
