This weekend was a doozy for snow in Oil City. We had about two feet of snow accumulated at our house and finally broke down and got the snowblower out.
Our vehicles had no problem getting out of our long driveway before this weekend, but by Sunday the 18th of January, even our four wheel drive truck had issues getting out.
This picture was taken in our front yard as our German Shepherds made their way toward the front of our yard. My husband was throwing a frisbee for them and it was hilarious watching them bound across the snow. Luckily they are in superb physical condition, so that exertion didn't phase them at all.
Our two other dogs who are older had to walk in the tracks left by the younger Shepherds because it was too deep for them to navigate even thought they are large dogs.
It was nice though to feel the weather was a little warmer. Even though the temperature was surely in the twenties, it felt like a heat wave in relation to the sub zero wind chill weather we had been experiencing all week! I was even outside without a coat taking these pictures.
