Bad Car Dealers

By DMichael at 10/20/08 23:36
Just from personal experience, never buy a car from a used car dealer that offers lots of financing options. Yeah they have a lot of vehicles and they finance people with bad credit, but they will sell you a "lemon". I bought an 01 Pontiac Grand Prix there last year from them and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. It was a very disappointing purchase.

I financed the vehicle for about $7000. I had it for about 3 months when it started acting up. At that time I had paid almost $4500 for the car. I replaced the intake gasket and when the car was still over heating and unable to drive I took it to a Pontiac dealer and they had informed me that The head gasket was bad and the used car dealer had to have known about it when they sold it to me.

I was furious at this point, but I tried being reasonable and talking to them. I told them the problem and told them that they needed to fix the vehicle, they still refused. At that point I started looking into a lawyer, I informed them of this and they told me I could bring the car back and I didn’t have to pay the remaining balance, but I did not get any of the money I put into the car back.

What suggestions do you have to help others avoid this kind of mistake?

Atmosphere

By DMichael at 10/20/08 14:18
Are you looking for a great new place to eat? I recommend trying the new restaurant Atmosphere in Franklin. I went a couple of days after it opened, and I was very surprised with menu. They serve 6 different ethnic foods: Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Greek, French, and of course American. The great thing about the food is that you can mix different cultural foods, for instance you can have an entrée from Italy with an American side. I do recommend the Panini or the Gyro, they were excellent.

They don’t serve alcohol, but they do have some yummy desserts. They have it decorated very cultural and the tables have park benches for the seats. Placed at each table is an informational card about each countries dining etiquette. Atmosphere is located where the old Wendy’s restaurant used to be, go check it out. You will be very satisfied.

Venango County in Pennsylvania is the birthplace of that large and powerful industry we now call as the oil industry. The first oil fields excavated here are more than a hundred years old already.

Come on and celebrate the historical worth of Venango's oil industry by purchasing one of these oil certificates issued by the Organic Oil Company in 1864.
