Who wants to know the real reason Rendell wants to toll I-80?

Do you have an opinion on the tolling of the I-80 corridor? There is an interview you can fill out and let your voice be heard. Tell everyone your view on what Governor Rendell is trying to prove or accomplish with his plan. Are you happy to be financing mass transit in someone else's city while we can't even keep enough jobs here to keep a couple of Go buses busy? Let's toll I-80, I'm sure that will help us out.

Too Much Monkey Business with Treehouses at Two Mile Run County Park

I read in the Derrick, last week I believe, that there was a lot of interest generated over the tree house that is for sale in Two Mile Run Park.

The tree house was built as a prototype for the tree houses that you would be able to rent in the park. Even Governor Rendell thought it was a cool idea and pledged a million dollars to help build the treehouse village.

A lawsuit was hot on the heels of that offer by Ray Beichner who claimed the treehouse project would UNFAIRLY compete with his offering of like accomodations. This was but one of the many issues that is causing the downfall of the park, hence it being unavailable to ANY OF US to use all summer long!

Now...in the article last week....guess who was one of the interested buyers of the treehouse for one of his properties? Righty o, Ray Beichner. Figure that one out.
