A lot of banks out there may be so desperate with their financial standing that they are willing to avail stimulus funds from the government, even if these means a lot of restrictions on their part in the future.
Some banks, on the other hand, would rather stay on their own, especially if their financial standings are much stronger than the rest. One of these banks is the Northwest Savings Bank, which has decided to say no to federal stimulus money.
