I read in the Derrick, last week I believe, that there was a lot of interest generated over the tree house that is for sale in Two Mile Run Park.The tree house was built as a prototype for the tree houses that you would be able to rent in the park. Even Governor Rendell thought it was a cool idea and pledged a million dollars to help build the treehouse village.
A lawsuit was hot on the heels of that offer by Ray Beichner who claimed the treehouse project would UNFAIRLY compete with his offering of like accomodations. This was but one of the many issues that is causing the downfall of the park, hence it being unavailable to ANY OF US to use all summer long!
Now...in the article last week....guess who was one of the interested buyers of the treehouse for one of his properties? Righty o, Ray Beichner. Figure that one out.
